Boží Dar
(4 km)
The highest town in Central Europe. Visit the legendary Ježíškova cesta (Jesus' Trail, ideal for children) or take a walk along the Božídarské rašeliniště nature trail.
Klínovec (within walking distance)
The highest peak of the Ore Mountains (1244 m above sea level). The modern observation tower offers a unique circular view of both the Czech and German sides.
Fichtelberg and Oberwiesenthal (SRN)
Just a few minutes' drive away is a German spa town with the oldest suspension cable car in Germany and a picturesque narrow-gauge railway.
Karlovy Vary

A world-famous spa town listed by UNESCO. Ideal for a day trip to enjoy architecture and thermal springs.
The world of fairy tales and trails
Santa Claus's Journey to Boží Dar: An absolute classic. It has two circuits (the full 12.9 km or the shortened 5.6 km). Children complete tasks in their notebooks along the way and receive a stamp and a small reward at the end. The trail is also accessible with a stroller.
Action and adrenaline
Trail Park Klínovec – Azur: You don't have to be a professional cyclist. The "Azur" trail is a 10 km long, very gentle descent through the forest, which even children on regular bikes can safely manage. A modern cable car will take you to the top.
Water fun and relaxation
Aquacentrum Agricola (Jáchymov): If the weather is bad, this modern center with a water slide, children's pool, and sauna world is a safe bet.
